Spa Fabulous Complexion Perfection

About Spa Fabulous

Anyone who reads my blog or follows me on Twitter will know that I am a big fan of Spa Fabulous’s Organic Skincare range by Neena Trehan. You can read my first blog post about her facials here Her products are, as the name suggests, truly fabulous! The range are all formulated by Neena and produced in Great Britain. There are four facials in the range at the moment, all to target specific skin conditions – Cocoa & Rose Antioxidant Mask (for sun-damaged skin), Coconut and Aloe (for sensitive skin), Papaya and Pineapple (for pigmentation), and Strawberry and Honeysuckle (for acne/breakout prone skin). All of the masks smell good enough to eat! The other products used in the facial besides the masks – cleansers, exfoliator, oils/serums and creams – are all available to take home (the home exfoliation product is slightly different to the one used in the salons). Since I first met Neena, Spa Fabulous has branched out and is now available in 24 salons across England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland, and there is even a spa in China using her products!

New Spa Fabulous Complexion Perfection Machine

I was one of the first to know that the machine was coming and I was so excited when I found out that I could not wait to experience the facial! I see such a difference with the regular facial that I had high hopes for the facial when combined with a machine and I was not disappointed. The machine has been designed by Neena to maximise the effect of her facial products, combining them with specialised mechanical techniques. It works by vacuum suction but is variable and can be used in a variety of ways to obtain optimum results for each and every client by giving them a bespoke facial.

Benefits of the Complexion Perfection Machine

There are several benefits of using the Complexion Perfection machine for facials –

  • Brings blood to the skin’s surface, which means skin nutrients in the products are delivered more effectively
  • Circulation is improved which results in more nourished skin and muscle tone
  • Any puffiness or swelling around the eyes due to poor circulation is reduced
  • Deep cleanses to remove impurities such as excess sebum and makeup, and deals with blocked pores
  • Improves the skin’s appearance and helps to plump out fine lines
  • Promotes the activity of sebaceous glands in dry areas
  • Helps deliver specially blended organic oils deep down to work on the signs of ageing, pigmentation, open pores, dead skin and scarring

My first Spa Fabulous Complexion Perfection Treatment

I can guarantee you my first Spa Fabulous Complexion Perfection treatment will not be my last! It was my first facial with a machine (unless you count the Facial Sauna I had at home in the 90s!) and it did feel a little peculiar at first, but it was not unpleasant and I soon got used to it. I was treated with the Papaya and Pineapple Pigmentation Mask, which smells seriously fruity and I loved it! Like the Cocoa and Rose mask, I also wanted to lick this off my face. I resisted though.  I’ve been using so many pigmentation products recently, such as Beyond Organic’s Lite and Brite, Kimberly Sayer’s Whitening and Brightening Facial Serum (review here), Antipodes Apostle Brightening and Tone Correcting Serum (review here), all to really good effect. Most of the pigmentation around my face appears on my cheekbones and around the eye area, so I have been really focusing on massaging these products into this area. My pigmentation spots are visibly reduced as a result. There are loads of excellent natural ingredients out there to treat pigmentation and other signs of ageing – nature is on our side ladies!

When I arose from my treatment, which included Neena’s special pressure point massage which is soooo relaxing, I looked in the mirror and could not believe how plumped, glowing and radiant my skin was. I remember having this feeling the first time I experience one of her facials but this time I looked as though I was wearing makeup, I had to check she hadn’t slipped some foundation on instead of the Little Pot of Heaven Face Cream to finish! I left the salon extremely pleased, my skin and my smile beaming.
