I bought these products before I started working with JASON earlier on in the year and I am a convert for their everyday beauty products. The price is spot on and the products actually work. The brand is perfect for those conscious of what they are putting on their body/hair/skin but who have a budget to stick to. The products recently underwent a transformation with new packaging and reformulations. I must admit prior to the redesign of the packaging I would rarely consider putting JASON in my bathroom as it looked so drab and dated.
Both the shampoo and conditioner are 84% aloe vera barbadensis juice which really boosts the moisture content and shine of the hair. The main ingredient of most natural haircare is aqua so obviously the 84% aloe has more benefits than water. The formula also contains pro-vitamin B5 derived from plants which helps lock moisture in and repair.
The products smell lovely and clean, like aloe, and the smell stayed in my hair post-shower. My ends were not as dry with repeated use which meant I didn’t need a haircut for a considerable length of time. The bottles are quite big and lasted me a good couple of months which I think is a bargain considering I have long hair and wash every 2-3 days. Also, unlike some other natural formulas, the shampoo and conditioner ran out at more or less the same time.
It’s not just dry hair that can benefit from these aloe vera formulas, apparently dry, itchy scalps, dandruff and even hair loss can be treated with topical application of aloe vera. If you have success in treating these ailments I would love to hear from you.
