I received this Bamford Body Care Duo in an Organic September Box from The Soil Association- perfect for Holiday Body Care!
These are the first Bamford products I have tried, and I am yet to try any since but as I write up this post I am remembering just how impressed Mr BB and I were with these products in Antigua. They were perfect for that late afternoon/early evening shower before cocktails and dinner, really gentle and soothing formulas the pair of them!
Bamford Body nurtures the skin naturally and luxuriously, using only the finest natural and organic ingredients to create high-performance products that are better for you and the environment. Bamford products contain no nasty chemicals, are made using recyclable packaging and most are accredited to the highest organic standards by the UK Soil Association- perfect for holiday body care! The Body Wash is 100% Natural and 75% Organic, whilst the Lotion is 91% Organic – this is more like the organic percentage of content we want to see!
First up for my Holiday Body Care, Bamford Rose Body Wash with Chamomile and Lemon
This was a pure treat for skin, a gentle foaming formula created using plant-based cleansers, sulphate free (of course!) and contains soothing Aloe Vera, soothing Chamomile, anti-inflammatory and healing Rose Geranium Oil and balancing Lemon. Rich in antioxidants, this was a refreshing body wash that also left skin feeling conditioned. The blend of Rose, Chamomile and Lemon is beautiful, stimulating yet relaxing all in the same shower!
The Second Star of the Bamford Body Duo is the Rose Body Lotion
This lotion had an instant cooling effect on hot bods that had been out in the sun all day. There are some gorgeous oils – hydrating Jojoba, nourishing Shea Butter and anti-inflammatory Almond Oil. There’s also antibacterial and anti-fungal honey. The lotion is light yet luxurious, a little goes a long long way – we were both using at least once a day for 10 days straight top to toe and there was still a little under half left come to the end of our holiday (you can see the shadow line in the picture of the bottle!)
The Bamford Rose Body Lotion carries the same scent as the Body Wash, a floral heart of the Moroccan ‘hundred’ leaved Rose, Ylang Ylang, Chamomile, and fruity notes of Lemon and Blackcurrant.
Since I tried these products, Bamford have changed their packaging, for the better too in my opinion. They are now contained in an opulent foresty-olivey green bottle (still plastic but from the images online they look much more desirable and glossy!) As well as the individual products, you can also buy as a duo at Naturisimo for just £38, whereas to buy separately would cost £48.
I’m looking forward to trying my next discovery from the Bamford range – I’ve currently got my eyes on the Sugar Polish, Nurture Balm and Facial Oil! If you have any recommendations from the range for my next holiday body care, I’d love to hear!
