Tuesday 20th January 8pm Core Class- Yoga Challenge Day 12
After a hard day’s work in the office, I head for my core class. I love gently stretching out my body and releasing tension. In the past twelve days I’ve really learnt how to listen to my body, and feel what’s going on. Not just in the class but outside as well. Correcting my posture whether standing or seated at my desk has become commonplace.
In the standing series, I am getting deeper into prasarita, I’m feeling my hamstrings and calf muscles stretching out plus when I glance over to the mirror my back is flatter. In my straight leg triangle, I’m starting to feel like my hips are limbering up and getting closer to correct alignment.
