There is something really special about the Beyond Organic range, it is definitely among my top brands.  The opalescent packaging looks attractive on the bathroom shelf, but it’s the products contained inside the pots that really count.  I am already putting the Hydrating Body Oil to the test on my right thigh, so watch out for that post soon.

I took the Detoxifying Cleanser with me on holiday to Turkey.  The texture was smooth and buttery, the fragrance clean and lemony.  When I first applied the product, I was slightly concerned that it would leave my skin greasy, but this fear quickly subsided after the first use when I read the ingredients list and could see how soft and smooth my skin was after use.  There are so many nourishing oils packed into these products, along with coconut butter and beeswax, which meant that my skin was replenished and hydrated after days in the sun.  Burdock restores skin tone and smoothness, whilst yarrow has cleansing and astringent properties and comfrey helps repair damaged tissue.

I have used an Original Genki Konnyaku Sponge as well as a Balm Balm Organic Muslin Cloth with this cleanser. Both worked really effectively, the former has stronger exfoliation properties, so may not be suitable for daily use for all skin types.  The muslin cloths offer gentle exfoliation and can be used every day.
