Obviously I know about Weleda
but as a brand, it’s one I’ve tried very few products from. Weleda Wild Rose Day Cream is a cult product that almost everyone has tried, but besides that, I think the only Weleda product I’ve tried is a Sea Buckthorn Creamy Body Wash. So when I stumbled upon a Weleda Replenishing Body Lotion sample from the Sea Buckthorn range I decided I should give it a go, especially as I had remembered particularly enjoying the citrusy fragrance of the body wash previously.
My memory served me well as the lotion has a delicious mandarin fragrance. Light, non-greasy and easily absorbed. I was slightly surprised to see alcohol listed as the third ingredient in this formula as the lotion is supposed to be a replenishing one and as we know alcohol can be drying to the skin. To help make up for this there are some skin-loving ingredients including Sesame Seed Oil, Shea Butter and Mallow Extract.
Overall, I would say this is a nice lotion but I am concerned about the alcohol content of the body lotion so probably would not purchase a full-size version of this product.
