Bodhi & Birch Rosa Rosa launch event
It’s a couple of months since the Bodhi & Birch Rosa Rosa launch event, I can’t quite believe how quickly the time has passed! And, I’ve only just started using the products, they’ve been sitting on my beauty shelf patiently waiting in an orderly queue. I’ve been trying to use up products before starting on the next ones to be reviewed. It had gotten to the point where I had so many opened products part used that they were taking over the bathroom and the bedroom. I’ve almost gotten through the majority, and I couldn’t resist the urge any longer to put these to use!
Bodhi & Birch Rosa Rosa launch event was held at St Martin’s Lane Hotel in the Back Room, a beautiful white and pristine setting with lots of natural light. As usual, Elijah ensured that the decor was impeccable.
An exquisite bouquet of pink roses, fitting for the Rosa Rosa launch.
Beautiful flower arrangements in a wonderful selection of vases.
Rose hips in a teacup with a moustache guard, ideal for any chaps participating in Movember.
A fab shabby chic mirror, with the all-important # and @’s of Twitter!
It was the first time I had seen all the products in the new packaging, complete with the new Bodhi & Birch logo.
Rosa Rosa is a new skincare line in the Bodhi & Birch range, and all profits from the products go to help breast cancer charities.
I love the packaging, the pink is a lovely shade, and the gift box is so beautiful!
Elijah very kindly gifted me a box set to take home.
Wrapped in pink tissue paper, which I creatively made into a rose, not dissimilar to the rose on the front of the gift box.
Whilst at the even, I was treated to a hand and arm massage and treatment with the products. First of all the arms were cleansed with the Rosa Rosa Clarifying Cleanser for normal to dry skin. This was a lovely experience and much of the cleanser was absorbed into the skin. It’s a really rich cleanser with some fab ingredients that nourish whilst also cleansing. The fragrance is divine, with Palmarosa, Ylang Ylang and Geranium the notes that stand out for me.
After the cleanser was washed away, the arms were then spritzed with the Rosa Rosa Hydrating Toner. This is a blend of Damask Rose, Orange Blossom and Chamomile, and also features Aloe Vera Water and Witch Hazel for an astringent effect. We also discovered with Elijah that you can eat this toner, it has a floral flavour with a hint of sweetness from the glycerin.
To finish off, the Rosa Rosa Daily Moisturiser was applied. The cream has a medium consistency and is very easily absorbed by the skin. The results? Soft, smooth and radiant hands and arms. A noticeable difference, my arms were so pampered that even Mr BB commented on their silky softness.
