Botanicals Organic Beauty Review

Botanicals-Old-Packaging

This is another post that has been a long time coming! I am loving the new look packaging of Botanicals Organic Beauty, but let’s finish up with the old packaging first.

Botanicals are Soil Association certified and all products have been professionally tested (not on animals mind!) and certified, meaning they fully conform to the European Cosmetics Products Safety Regulations. Botanicals aim to create beauty products as close to nature as possible, and full of the botanical power that is beneficial to our skin.

They very much share the same opinion as me when it comes to the ingredients some mainstream companies put in their products. Whilst the health dangers of some may be exaggerated, others we don’t yet know the full risk – the cocktail effect recently reported is a strong example of this – and why should companies be allowed to use these chemicals, which I am afraid are cheap options for higher profit margins rather than having any skin benefit whatsoever.

Botanicals Organic Beauty Body Oils

The two Botanicals Organic Body Oils I tried were absolutely divine! Both floral scents that nourished and revitalised both the skin and senses. First up, the Rose & Camellia Organic Body Oil. Hand blended with organic Rose hip, Jojoba and Apricot oils, and antioxidant rich White Tea extract. It’s a beautiful floral scent, a blend of Rose Geranium, Rose Flower and Lavender. The other oil was Orange Blossom Organic Body Oil. A hand blended product again with organic Rose hip, Jojoba and Apricot Oils, and fragranced with Sweet and Bitter Orange and sultry Patchouli. Both these oils are ideal for massage as well as keeping skin in top condition. The fragrance of the oils stayed on the skin for some time after use, not in an intrusive way but a sexy subtle scent on the skin kind of way.

Botanicals Organic Beauty Hand & Body Balm

Having read that this product is a great aftersun I am going to be packing this to take on holiday in around a month’s time. It’s a nourishing balm designed to soothe, soften and protect the skin. It’s also great for eczema and chapped skin, with healing and regenerative properties. With a Shea Butter base, Apricot Kernel and soothing Marigold Oils. Watch out for a full review coming post summer holiday!

Since receiving these products, as I mentioned previously, Botanicals Organic Beauty have had a rebrand. The newest products are –

To Rose & Camellia Body Oil – Deep Peace Organic Body Oil £12.50

To Orange Blossom Body Oil – Indulgence Organic Aromatic Body Oil £12.50

Lavender & Chamomile Hand Salve £15.95
